Work on PA public school projects mandates the detail and diligence that DEI continuously provides. The requirements in PA for multiple prime contractors (Pennsylvania Separations Act), navigation of the PlanCon process and bidding rules, municipal approvals and regulatory mandates, national and local codes and special inspection requirements, PA prevailing wages, state mandates for construction worker security clearances, County Conservation District management of the DEP requirements, all make construction projects challenging. Our extensive experience and exceptional staffprovide leadership to proactively succeed in managing and delivering projects that meet the goals for quality, schedule, andbudget. DEI will work tirelessly with the District and other design teammembers to develop a project scope and program that satisfiesallDistrict requirements,All levelsofstakeholderswill beconsultedasnecessary, includingBoardmembers, school administration, and End Users. Consistent communication and transparency are critical to ensuring a successful project. DEI will attend and/or lead meetings with specific District committees, such as buildings and grounds or capital projects to ensure that all team members are kept up to date. We will lead the ship when it comes to design team members to ensure District criteria is being incorporated and approvals achieved. DEI takes pride in the way that we have been able to successfully structure projects into multi prime contracts. We clearly define the roles of each individual prime in the contract documents which helps save money on bid day and headaches during construction. Contractors are eager to bid our projects competitively because they understand what they will be responsible for during the project.
