S ECTION 4 – W ORK P LAN & S CHEDULE

Our proposal is based on the Southern Lehigh School District (SLSD) Request for Proposal (RFP). We have assembled fee information based on our prior success in delivering the Owner’s needs, navigating the Township and Conservation District approval process, and delivering a design that exceeds expectations. Included in our resume of dozens of synthetic and track projects. As a first suggestion, we note that the majority of stadiums in the Lehigh valley have sponsorships from a health care organization. As a first means of reducing the capital outlay, we suggest contacting these organizations who may partner with the District on this exciting project.

The Miller Sports Team offers vast athletic facilities resources, exceptional general construction and buying power and a reputation for superior Lehigh Valley design, planning, and permitting knowledge combined with the most extensive list of successfully completed work. This means that we can deliver on one of Southern Lehigh’s most important goals, VALUE. • Competition and purchasing value for the large ticket items for this project • Continuous Value Engineering , during construction • Long term maintenance value as it relates to life cycle of the stadium components We have designed, purchased, and installed many of the best turf and track surface products in the Lehigh Valley. We are not “aligned” with any individual manufacturer. Miller’s Mid-Atlantic service area provides the advantage to generate competition manufacturers for the selected surfaces, not only for the product but also for the warranties. There are also options for the bleachers and stadium lights to save the District money. We can share these with you and the associated pricing options and design then quickly design and incorporate the desired option. The site is very prone to Karst/sinkhole activity. Our construction team has the most experience with this geology and its remedies in Eastern Pennsylvania. Our schedule looks to minimize the risk of subsurface issues and our budget creates allowance so that should issues arise, they can rapidly be addressed. Finally, our reputation in the region for service is well known. Beyond the completion of the project, we will be a resource for the District in maintaining the stadium and its features. These considerations will be at the forefront of our efforts now to minimize the District’s efforts and costs in the future. This is the Miller Sports Value Approach and Commitment.
