Firm History: DEI was established in 1976 as a structural design and forensic engineering firm. In 1989, DEI expanded into facilities engineering and project/construction management. In 2022, DEI began its 33 rd year of facility engineering and project/construction management and has earned a rock-solid reputation for providing successful leadership on public projects in Pennsylvania with a consistent track record proven by its many long-term repeat clients and relationships. 80% of DEI’s business is dedicated to performing public projects in Pennsylvania. The backbone of this success is DEI’s personnel consisting of licensed engineers and architects, as well as certified construction, scheduling, cost estimating, and forensic experts.
