Hotel Bethlehem Cornice Failure Investigation and Repair • Investigated collapse of cantilevered terracotta cornice on 9-story Hotel Bethlehem. • Performed field surveys and oversaw probe openings made to assess existing conditions and cause(s) of collapse. • Analyzed extent of corrosion deterioration and designed repairs to stabilize cornice components. • Prepared bid documents and monitored repair work, including installation of stainless steel sock anchors and new GFRC cornice components.

Facility Condition Assessments Capital Improvement Planning Water/Wastewater Design Engineering Structural Engineering Annual Services Contract Preparation Construction Inspection For nearly four years D’Huy Engineering, Inc. (DEI) has been pro- viding evaluations, assessments, design, bidding and construction phase engineering services for the Delaware County Regional Water Quality Control Authority (DELCORA) to support its ongo- ing capital improvement program. Engineering services included work at the Western Regional Treatment Plant (WRTP) as well as several remote pump stations and other DELCORA infrastructure.

With over 30 years of experience, Mr. Fazil is an expert in public projects and commercial plan- ning, design, and construction. In addition, Mr. Fazil is a specialist in managing and reducing the owners risk on a project. Mr. Fazil is an acknowledged expert in preparation and implementation of capital plans, budgeting, value engineering, project approvals and construction project man- agement.
FORENSIC INVESTIGATIONS & BUILDING ENVELOPE REPAIR SERVICES Ronald C. Carr, P.E. - Vice President and Senior Principal Bringing over 30 years of dedicated experience in structural design and analysis as well as foren- sic investigation, Mr. Carr is an expert in structural design concept development, specification writing, and performance of static and dynamic analyses. As Principal – in – Charge, Mr. Carr oversees the work of the DEI engineering staff and draftspersons in addition to providing overall project management for the design of medium and large scale structures.

With more than 19 years of project management experience, Mr. Grice evaluates a building’s energy usage and recommends improvements that increase efficiency and reduce energy-related project costs.
