The crucial step for procurement is to make decisions quickly, confirm the details and place the orders, particularly for the bleachers and lights as quickly as possible. We look forward to guiding the District in this process and be your single point of contact for all the work. This team self-performs much of the critical work including concrete, sitework, carpentry andmore. Unlike a turf vendor that subcontracts the critical work until the 3 weeks come during which turf is installed, we drive the schedule with our own forces to achieve the critical dates for the turf, bleacher, and track surface installation. The volume of work we perform each year allows us to be first in line for the track, turf, and bleacher installations. This is another way that we reduce the project risk for the Southern Lehigh School District. CONSTRUCTION

The construction phase is designed to put all the planning into action. The District will have a single point of contact for all aspects of the work and will continuously be in control of the project. We will interface with the Township, the Conservation District and the building permit officials during the work and report to you early and often on all issues. Quality control is essential and will be managed by our team and a third-party materials testing firm included in our proposal for soils, concrete, and asphalt. Safety and the required personnel clearances for working on a school site will be provided and managed by our team. The State

contract still requires prevailing wages for the project which also will be managed by our team for its personnel and its subcontractors. The schedule and budget will be continuously monitored and reported to the District. No added work will be performed without the District’s written approval and throughout the construction phase we will always be working to identify opportunities for District savings. Key construction activities include: 1. Stamped and sealed bleacher drawings will be developed for the building permit submission by the team. 2. Prompt review and approval of shop drawings and proposed details by the District Team is essential. 3. Field Logos, end zone letters, turf colors and sports line details will all be documented as part of the final design effort. Options for colored transitions zones on the track can also be considered. Out team will offer the pricing options available. 4. New electrical conduit and wiring for new stadium lights has to be installed under the field and to the new visitor and home side pole locations prior to installing the field drainage stone. 5. Stormwater work and activities that can be completed in the Fall of 2022 must be prioritized. We want to schedule for success, reduce to the extent possible the risk of sinkholes, avoid leaving disturbed areas open during the winter and prepare to expedite work once frost is out of the ground in the Spring. The schedule is achievable, but we must make decisions and place material orders this Summer. 6. The field drainage stone layer is an essential component for field drainage.
