LEADERSHIP

Arif Fazil, P.E., CCS, CCCA, LEED AP, CEM: President of DEI: Project Document QA/QC The Principal-in-Charge of our proposed services, Arif Fazil, has been planning, budgeting, and implementing projects for public clients for more than 30 years. He is a licensed Professional Engineer, Certified Construction Specifier, LEED AP, and Certified Energy Manager. As the president of the firm, Arif sets the standard by which our staff operate each day. He is an expert in shielding public clients from the risks of construction, and is a trusted advisor through complex planning, budgeting, design, approvals, bidding, and construction phases of projects. Joshua Grice, P.E., CEM, CCCA, CEA: Principal: CM Team Leader Our Construction Management Team Leader, Josh Grice, has been planning, budgeting, and implementing projects for public clients for more than 20 years. He is a licensed Professional Engineer, Certified Construction Contract Administrator, and Certified Energy Manager & Auditor. Josh will be your primary point of contact and will direct our team of professionals throughout the entire process. The result will be proactive project management, timely responses to issues, and direct oversight of all tasks by a company principal from initial concept planning through building turnover. Ronald C. Carr, P.E.: Vice President of DEI: Structural Engineering Mr. Carr brings over 30 years of dedicated experience in structural design and analysis as well as forensic investigation. Mr. Carr has investigated and developed retrofit solutions for all types of building façade failures and is expert in brick masonry rehabilitation. On this project, Mr. Carr would provide guidance on building envelope repairs and material selections for historic preservation. Peter M. Garland, PE: Principal: Structural Engineering Mr. Garland is a Professional Engineer with more than 25 years in structural design and engineering management experience, the development of design concepts, specification writing, project coordination and supervision from design through construction, renovation of existing structures, evaluating water and fire-damaged structures, and designing retrofit solutions. He will be responsible for the review of the building’s structural components to confirm feasibility of new interior spaces.
