In 1989, the firm expanded its “Tradition of Excellence” philosophy into facilities engineering and project/construction management with one of its first (and existing repeat) clients, Bethlehem Area School District.

D’Huy’s first prominent project was the forensic investigation of the Yankee Stadium Collapse in 1979. The thoroughness and accuracy of DEI’s investigation launched the firm to national recognition.

D’Huy Engineering, Inc. (DEI) was established in 1976 by Mr. Gerard D’Huy as a structural design/ analysis and forensic engineering firm committed to the highest levels of excellence, integrity, communication and documentation.
