In 1989 D’Huy expanded its “Tradition of Excellence” into Facilities Engineering and Project / Con- struction Management. In 2020, D’Huy Engineering Inc. began its 31st year of Project / Construction Management and has earned a rock solid reputation for providing successful leadership on public school projects in Pennsylvania with a consistent track record proven by its many long-term repeat clients and relationships. 80% of D’Huy’s business is dedicated to performing public projects in Penn- sylvania. DEI’s Capital Improvement Plan- ning (CIP) services involve prepar- ing a detailed description of physi- cal conditions within each of your buildings. The CIP is typically de- veloped for a 5-10 year period, but remains dynamic to meet a client’s changing needs. Each facility’s condition is prioritized through a customized logic matrix and as- signed an estimated cost by build- ing and category.

In 1989, the firm expanded its “Tradition of Excellence” philosophy into facilities engineering and project/construction management with one of its first (and existing repeat) clients, Bethlehem Area School District.

D’Huy’s first prominent project was the forensic investigation of the Yankee Stadium Collapse in 1979. The thoroughness and accuracy of DEI’s investigation launched the firm to national recognition.
